Where do you usually find stray pets such as dogs?

I love searching for pets needing rescued, and when I find a stray, my mom never helps it even though she said she does. Anyone know where the most likleyest place to find a stray dog is? Thanks!|||Shelters pick up many many stray dogs off the streets. If you want to help those, volunteer or foster or even donate items or money. There's a lot you could do.





It would be a little dangerous to approach a stray dog if you don't know anything about them... They could attack you or have some nasty disease. So help the ones that shelters have collected and have a death sentence over their heads. |||well you can go to a pet shelter or look in the paper|||Shelters often have loads of strays or unwanted dogs that you can adopt or foster. You can also donate money to the shelter or give them supplies such as dog food.|||If you mean a stray that has been picked up by animal control or local authorities - these are typically held for a day or two at the local animal control office, then turned over to the humane society or a local shelter for adoption.





If you mean a stray that has not been picked up, unfortunately, they are everywhere - in the neighborhoods, roaming the streets, searching garbage cans for food.
