Do pets get free medical if working at a vet office?

I know for people if you work in a hospital or emergency room then your kids get free medical. (i know this because my mom in law is an emergency room nurse)

So if someone works in the veterinarian field do your pets (dogs, cats etc) get medical benefits?

Thanks!|||Unless you are working for an individual I think there will be a charge.

Alot of these vets are part of a nationwide network and have to abide by their rules.

Just ask..what harm can that do?|||It depends from vet to vet. But most places probably offer at least reduced prices for their employees pets.|||most just get a discount!|||not at the vet office that i worked at. you get almost everything for cost though. the vets have crazy markups on there services and products. i buy dog food there and get it for $35 a bag and regular people pay $125 which is crazy. i believe that anisthetic is still fairly expensive, even on a regular bill the anisthetic cost is more than a surgery procedure|||The answer to this is in 99.9% of cases- no, not entirely free. Usually it is discounted. However, there are perks like being able to ask questions to the veterinarian without him charging you. Maybe even doing a physical exam free of charge depending on the Vet. Veterinarian's offices also get a lot of freebies from different companies. The workers can usually take some of these home if the vet allows them to. Hope this helped.
