Is there a legal limit on how many pets you can own in New York?

I know someone who has about 50 cats, 6 dogs, a parrot, a parakeet, 2 turtles, and a ferret. These animals all live inside the house, and pretty much destroy everything. How many pets can you legally keep in your home in New York?|||legal or not, I sure some pets are in danger and it is very unsanitary in there. You should call Animal Control now!|||I dont think there is a specific number limit. However if owning the pets is putting someone's health at risk or is a nuisance to the neighborhood then her pets can be taken away, at least some of them.
