How much electricity does the invisible fence for pets use ?

Can anyone give me an estimate on the annual cost of electricity to power the invisible fence/ hidden fence for pets ?|||It doesnt use alot. Call a invisible fence company and find out.|||Too much. Electric fences are cruel - they give the dog a painful electric shock. Plus they only work some of the time. If the dog has a high prey drive and chases something it will be afraid to come back in the yard because of the shock. It doesn't keep predators or mean little kids or stray dogs out. That means your dog is at risk for being hurt or killed. Just get a real fence - your dog will thank you.
