How to expand my the sims 2 with the sims 2 pets?

i cant install the sims 2 pets expansion pack. i already got my the sims 2 installed in my computer. how could i install the the sims 2 pets?|||Yes. If this is a disk that you bought, then just put the disk in and then let it install to the default location. Afterwards, you need to use the Pets disk to play from because it is a later released game and EA requires that you always play by inserting the latest released game that you have installed.|||if you have already install original sims 2 then it should work with any expansions, unless its not retail version|||if u have the basic sims 2 installed u must be able to install the sims 2 exoansion pack... or have u installed all the expansion packs before the pets expansion pack? or may be the sims 2 pets cd or iso from where u r installin mite be corrupt. try installin it on another pc. wot is the error message that is shown while installing sims 2 pets???
