What's (in your opinion) are the best Chinchilla breeds to have as pets?|||You seem confused. There is only one breed of pet Chinchillas. Pet Chinchillas can be friendly and good pets but some can be mean. My Chinchilla named Chinchi is very friendly and a great pet but it depends on the Chinchilla. If you are asking this question based on color, any color is great because they don't have different behaviors because of their different color. If you mean by gender, males are sweeter because females can and will spray you (pee on you) and they can get feisty while males tend to be calmer.I hope you have a great time with your chinchilla as much as I do with my 2!!!!
